“Sa tuwid na daan
walang maiiwan” simple with conviction tagline of the Philippine’s Republic
President. Uttered words which seems to have pro’s and con’s branches. We
cannot deny the fact that our country nowadays is facing a lot of misery, so
disappointing that we can’t do anything to hurdle this occurrences. The
obfuscate news and happenings that we’re still at and can never be solved by
the turtle-like government scheme management resolution right away. Different
kinds of problem bother our poor countrymen. Workers rallies, OFW execution in
Indonesia, Bangsamoro basic law debate that ignited the deaths of PNP-SAF
officers and other news stuffs that moved the country.
The last term of
P-Noy seems to be in a worse path which should be symbolizing his excellence
the past five years since he started the position after former President Gloria
Macapagal-Arroyo’s administration. Indeed, a huge baffle had come by and challenged
the entire Filipino spirit. Juan dela Cruz is on his way to the Calvary
carrying a huge cross behind. Up until the point Juan’s countrymen woke up and
started the noise that would knock the government ears. Hand in hand, bursting
their grief, raising their voice that summed up another revolution that made
the Filipino suffer brought by poverty: Tax, products, and oil price hike,
major problems that we are facing today. In addition are the non-stop congress
and senate hearings against the unexplainable properties of some government officials,
anomalies between different business sectors and public services and the highly
increasing unemployment rate, different cases including theft, murder and
illegal drug pushing.
Despite all of this,
tomorrow or maybe someday whatever the time is, it will all be gone. We just
don’t have to lose hope. We shouldn’t be blaming our government, even the battle
for greatness between American boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather and Peoples Champ
Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao. Why on earth we should blame P-Noy for the Filipino
Pride lost? In real sense, why don’t we ask ourselves? What is the greatest
contribution that we have had to save our country? What are the good things we
are about to contribute for the betterment of the country? When is the time? If
not today when?
We are studying to learn
and use the knowledge in many productive ways. Let us open our minds to use in
a judicious thinking, our eyes for a sensitive observation, own way,
perseverance, constancy, and determination to fulfill our dreams and needs in life and above all,
our strong faith in God for his guidance on our way to the straight path of success
